Gold Mughal Dome Medallion Pearl Drop Maang Tikka

Steeped in the architectural romance of Mughal jewellery traditions, this maang tikka is a 
study in sculptural elegance. A jewelled rolo chain — its links punctuated at intervals by 
square-set CZ connector stations — descends to a large domed circular medallion, its entire 
surface covered in dense hand-engraved scroll and floral repoussé work, crowned at the 
centre with a luminous polki stone set in fine gold granule beading. Below the medallion, 
three paisley drops hang in a graceful arc — the central one encrusted with seed pearls and 
a polki accent, the flanking two in plain engraved gold — before the piece concludes in its 
most striking detail: a baroque pearl drop with a ruby and gold granule cap, suspended like 
a full stop at the end of a sentence.

This tikka belongs to a different register entirely from the meenakari and tassel pieces in 
the collection — it is quieter, more sculptural, and richly Mughal in spirit. It suits brides
